General Description of Position:
The purpose of this position is to coordinate current and future programs as identified by the Dean of the College of Engineering.

Plans, manages and directs college-level programs. Coordinates day-to-day programming including explanations of college policies and procedures, ensuring all involved comply with program requirements. Collects/analyzes data and prepares reports. Coordinates and manages events, forums and tours. Candidate will collaborate with students, administrators, faculty, staff, KSU Foundation, corporate partners, and anyone else involved to ensure all aspects of the programs function effectively.
Provides support for the Dean's Office to ensure Dean's initiatives, directives and deadlines are met. Directs and supervises student workers. Other duties as assigned.
Required Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree. Experience managing programs or projects and working with college students. Experience with event planning and coordination. Experience with data collection, analysis and preparation of reports.
Strong organizational skills with an emphasis on detail. Ability to work independently. Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills. Demonstrated ability to work and collaborate effectively with others. Ability to manage and supervise people. Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint). The nature of the job will necessitate night and weekend availability.
Physical Activities and Environmental Conditions:
Ability to transport and carry 25 pounds. Ability to perform small repetitive motions often and with accuracy. Ability to push carts of furniture to area of need. Required to complete van training through Division of Facilities at Kansas State University within 6 months of hire date and be willing to drive 15 passenger van. Necessary to use elevators to move carts of furniture as well as deliver/pick-up items from the Foundation Building.
