Secretary- Community Education and Literacy Programs
Working hours for this position consist of a 7.5 hour period (between the hours of 7:30 am and 8:00 pm) Monday through Friday exclusive of a 1/2 or 1 hour lunch and will require working one evening per week. These hours to be agreed upon between the supervisor and employee at the start of employment.
Note: This position may require weekend work on occasion. The employee and supervisor will agree in advance on each such occasion if this time will be worked in addition to, or in lieu of regular hours.
The Secretary provides secretarial/administrative support for the Community Education-Literacy Programs. Schedules appointments, gives information to callers, and otherwise relieves officials of clerical work and minor administrative and business details.
Required Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); two years full-time secretarial or related experience required. Bilingual Spanish/English required.
