School of Medicine Department of Family Medicine has an opening for a full-time University Staff (unclassified) Family Medicine Residency Coordinator position.

Work involves creating, integrating, applying and sharing knowledge directly related to a professional field. Work is performed fully independently.
The residency coordinator performs duties relating to planning and coordinating academic, operational, and financial activities of the University of Colorado Family Medicine residency program, assists in the development of program educational and administrative goals and objectives, and provides sound guidance and advice on pertinent residency program issues. This position will work in a collaborative, close relationship with the residency faculty and will fundamentally contribute to the ongoing development, analysis and evaluation of existing and proposed educational programs within the residency program. The coordinator is primarily responsible for the day-to-day administration of the program, including managing the recruitment/match process and the residents' rotational scheduling. The coordinator also represents the residency when interacting with the Graduate Medical Education (GME) office, the Department of Family Medicine, the School of Medicine, the University of Colorado, and the Colorado Association of Family Medicine Residencies. The program coordinator organizes the activities of program coordinators in the residency's rural and Denver Health tracks.
PLEASE NOTE: Candidates will be responsible for travel expenses related to the interview process and any relocation expenses, if applicable.
Salary and Benefits:
The hiring salary for this position is $40,125 - $53,00 and is negotiable and commensurate with skills and experience. This position is not eligible for overtime compensation.

A bachelor's degree in education, psychology, business, public administration, health care, educational technology, social science, liberal arts, communications, accounting, finance, library science, or a directly related field from an accredited institution and two years of professional level experience working in an institution of higher education supporting graduate medical education and/or medical student education
Substitution: A combination of education and related technical/paraprofessional experience may be substituted for the bachelor's degree on a year for year basis.
Conditions of Employment
Must be willing and able to regularly travel between the residency clinic and the Anschutz Medical Campus.
*Experience working in university-based Family Medicine graduate medical education desired
*Expertise with ERAS, NRMP and MedHub highly preferred
*Experience working with students and faculty within a higher education environment
*Experience in setting up and arranging all aspects for conference, meetings, and events
