Job Description

Nu-Age Managed Services is currently looking to hire a full time candidate who has at least

7 years' hands on experience on Microsoft Server 2008/2012, Exchange 201x,

Lync 2013 and VMWare vSphere 5. This is a fast paced environment where the

candidate's skills will be featured in test/production environments mainly

within our datacenter and at client sites. The Nu-Age datacenter provides

hosted solutions for its current client base. These skills should include

strength in Exchange Management, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy

and multi-site domain management.

This candidate will be required to take assignments from executive level,

which will include technical specifications, design, then deploy systems

successfully according to the manufacturers best practices, You must also

be able to troubleshoot complex, multi-site Windows and VMware

infrastructures. Responsibilities include monitoring, troubleshooting &

performing maintenance on MS Windows infrastructure. The position also

includes after hours and weekend coverage responsibilities.

o Technical writing/documentation

o Problem diagnostic/resolution

o Must be self-motivated with an interest in business initiatives and applications integrations

o Excellent written and verbal communication skills

o Research And Develop IT Technologies

o Engage and respond to technical issues in a timely fashion

o Working knowledge of standards, change management, network security experience

o Analytical and adaptable

o Strong working knowledge, experience with enterprise solutions including Backup Exec, Vault, DLP/PGP

o Good leadership & Mentoring skills

o Act as a technical escalation point and mentor for junior and senior level support personnel for the Tier-1 and Tier -2 Network Operations Center

o Assist in the creation and execution of procedures and processes as related to day to day operations

o Ensure that operations team performs all initial trouble shooting and

o diagnostics as well as fix problems as detected by monitoring systems

o Own the resolution of escalated internal and external systems issues

o Act as liaison to other organizations during cross departmental projects as needed

o Provide engineering support and technical expertise regarding integrating new and existing Windows technology into enterprise IT systems design and architecture

o Interface with internal, customer, and third-party teams for configuration, integration and deployment activities

o Manage Windows operating systems, virtualization technologies, and application migrations

o Develop and implement best practices and engineering standards for Windows Server configuration and optimization

o Provide administration support for Windows servers

o Provide Windows platform problem resolution including providing Tier-3 support for Windows related issues
