Job Description Responsibilities Analyze, design, develop, implement and support complex enterprise projects Work in conjunction with clients to resolve problems related to system design and implementation Review functional and technical design documents, systems implementation, program enhancements and application updates Provide quality assurance, quality control, risk management; and schedule activities Work on the development-to-production of new systems and enhancements to existing systems Ensure compliance with approved standards Develop web services to integrate Maximo with other systems via Oracle ESB Modify Web Service responses to meet technical designs and requirements Provide business requirements analysis and data integration studies using Intelligent Transportation Standards (ITS) Analyze and evaluate system changes to determine feasibility, alternative solutions and back-out procedures Maintain and share current knowledge of developments in the field of information technology Develop and present oral/written reports/recommendations within the areas of assigned responsibility and provide recommendations based on in-depth knowledge of the methods, tools and techniques used to evaluate, select, develop, test, implement, integrate, and troubleshoot systems software and hardware Minimum Requirements Comprehensive knowledge and experience with Maximo Application Modules and business processes including Work Management, Preventive Maintenance, Materials Management, Service Management, Asset Management, Purchasing, Contract Management, KPI and Workflow Comprehensive knowledge and experience with Maximo database design Comprehensive knowledge and experience with Maximo MIF design, setup and administration, including JMS Queues Setup, MIF Configuration and customization using all available methods and tools (Exit Classes, Handlers, Processing Classes, XLS) Experience in developing inbound and outbound web services, using several available Maximo tools, including, but not limited to Web services based on object structures, enterprise services, published channels, Java, invocation channel, etc. Experience in modifying web service responses Experience with SOAP, REST, and OSLC Experience in utilizing Maximo Web Services with Oracle Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) Experience in integrating purchasing, Documents Receipt Management, and mileage processing Experience with multi-tiered applications including web services, Maximo service-oriented architecture, database servers, application servers and report servers Comprehensive knowledge and experience with the implementation of IBM WebSphere on AIX or Windows platform Experience with HTML, Java, Java 2 Enterprise Edition Technology (J2EE), JSP, Extensible Markup Language (XML), JavaScript, C++, object oriented analysis and design, relational database programming and administration of programming/application development systems At least ten (10) years of progressively responsible diversified technical experience with complex information systems and data processing management in a large organization Preferred Requirements Experience with multiple transit agencies Experience developing custom adapters to integrate external applications with Maximo
