Appointment
The University of Puget Sound invites applications for a one-year visiting assistant professor in Chinese language and literature.

Responsibilities
Teaching load is three courses per semester, to include two courses on language and one on literature-in-translation per semester.

Qualifications
A doctoral degree (ABD considered) in Chinese literature or Chinese culture and a commitment to liberal arts education are required. Preference will be given to those with experience teaching Chinese language at the undergraduate level.

Compensation and Benefits

Rank: Visiting Assistant Professor.

Salary is commensurate with education and experience.
