Marketing and Communications Associate
Washington & Jefferson College is seeking applications for a Marketing and Communications Associate. This exciting new opportunity is responsible for generating engaging content - written and visual - for use in marketing the College. The associate will serve as a copyeditor for the College's various departments. The associate will also be required to manage, and help other team members manage, a variety of projects and associated resources through the office's project management system. The associate is also responsible for administrative tasks such as maintaining budget spreadsheets, reconciling credit card statements, and ordering office supplies.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree, preferably in marketing, communications, or related program. 1+ plus years’ experience in working with media, overseeing projects, and copywriting/editing.
Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud including InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator is required. Base level knowledge of prominent social media platforms. Excellent writing and editing skills as demonstrated by a portfolio are required. Base level photography and videography skills. Project management experience is a plus.
