Job Summary: Mature and responsible students to serve as Summer Operations Assistants. Summer Operations Assistants responsibilities include: providing excellent customer service to our summer guests, processing guest information, using a conference housing database, preparing guests materials, conducting quality walk-throughs of guest rooms, answering phones and emails, and other related duties as assigned. Individuals also serve as the point of contact to solve guest's concerns and assist fellow staff with questions that may arise, and provide support to Special Programs staff. Summer Operations Assistants are required to work the Summer Registration Desk 25-35 hours per week (between 8:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m., 7 days a week with occasional later hours required), most weekends required.
Minimum Qualifications: Office or retail experience and customer service preferred, high proficiency with technology. Training is provided.
Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge and familiarity of Skidmore's campus and Saratoga Springs area.
