Duties and Responsibilities The successful candidate will teach courses in industrial hygiene, sampling methodologies, ergonomics, air/water pollution, safety, and health management. This may include teaching distance education and at off-campus locations. The position requires the ability to develop lesson plans, teaching aids, and assessment tools to demonstrate competency to meet campus and ABET requirements.

Minimum Required Education Master's Degree in safety or safety related field and an undergraduate degree in a technical field.

Required Licenses and/or Certifications N/A

Type and Amount of Experience Needed Minimum of three (3) years of industrial experience preferred.

Preferred Qualifications Doctoral degree in Engineering, Science/Technology, or related field.CSP or CIH or related professional certification/license.The candidate should have educational classroom and/or training experience.

Special Conditions This is a full-time position, renewable annually for up to three years. This position is outside tenure-track status but may convert to a tenure-track position in the future. If converted, then prior years of service may count for tenure and promotion.
