RESEARCH COORDINATOR B
Duties: The primary function of this position is to coordinate clinical research projects related to sleep for Dr. Samuel Kuna in the Center for Sleep and Circadian Neurobiology. Duties will include coordinating multiple study visits and procedures for research subjects in a multi-year project at the Philadelphia Veterans Affairs Medical Center and its community based outpatient clinics evaluating the cost effectiveness of a telemedicine approach to delivery of care to Veterans with post-traumatic stress disorder and chronic insomnia; collaborating with other members of research team on participant recruitment, implementation of study protocol, database design, data analysis; quality assurance procedures; supervising part-time research staff; maintaining accountability for all specimens and data; maintaining databases up to date; and recording ongoing study documentation.
Position is contingent on continued funding.
Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree and 2 -4 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Previous experience working at the Philadelphia VAMC preferred.
