Job Summary/Basic Function: The Department of Cultural and Behavioral Science invites applications for a non-tenure track Lecturer position in psychology. The successful candidate will provide 36 hours of instruction (lecture) per academic year, consistent with the college's mission, and maintain office hours for student tutoring. This is a full-time, non-tenure track position located at Perimeter College. Lecturers are appointed on a year to year basis renewable up to six years.
Required Experience: Prior psychology teaching experience at the collegiate level.
Required Education: A Master's degree in psychology (completed by the date of appointment) is required. A doctoral degree is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications: Ability to teach a variety of psychology courses at the college- level. Ability and desire to teach effectively using a variety of methods. Ability to relate to a diverse student population and facilitate student learning. Effective oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated knowledge of instructional technology.
