Job Description

Overview

Minimize the Revenue losses by doing effective and timely investigation and dispute of ADM & Charge backs. Ensure the proper compliance of ARC, Airline as well as merchant bank procedures.

Responsibilities / Job Duties

In this role the primary responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

Review and investigate the charge backs received from Airlines and Merchant banks to find out the exact cause for the charge back by the customer.

Respond to the Merchant banks and Airlines with complete documentation to contest the charge back/RFI within the time frame.

Conduct conference call with customer and their bank to resolve the disputes.

Take a proactive steps to cancel the reservation and process the refund for fraud cases to avoid revenue losses.

Escalate to the different in house Operational EXC/CSC team to take immediate steps in operational efficiencies to avoid buyer's remorse charge back cases.

Escalate to Fraud team to review and update data base to avoid further occurrences of the charge backs or fraud from the same card.

Make outbound calls to customers for the collection of buyer's remorse cases if charge back is not withdrawn.

Prepare documentation for pre-arbitration cases for the charge back items.

Liaise with Airlines to waive or reduce charge back amounts in cases of Fraud.

Login to ARC memo manager or BSP Links to dispute debit memos received.

Review and investigate debit memos received from Airlines for the ticketing, reservations, pricing, and refund processing errors.

Dispute ADM to airlines within the time frame to avoid being billed to ARC/BSP reports.

Escalate to stakeholders to take the immediate steps in for operational efficiencies to avoid debit memos from Airlines.

Register pricing errors claim with Amadeus for resolution or payments.

Update the file with the action taken for each cases received.

Do regular follow up with Merchant Banks, airlines and Suppliers to close debit memos to minimize the liability.

Do the merchant payment QA to find out the merchant gate way errors.

Qualifications/Skills Required & Preferred:

Bachelor's Degree Preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered

GDS knowledge.
Pricing, Fares and ticketing knowledge.
Travel/Airline audit and accounting knowledge.
Knowledge of card industry domain & procedure.
Experience of Credit card dispute process.
Customer service skills.
Airline/Travel industry knowledge or expertise.
Collection and recovery skills.
