The University of Massachusetts Dartmouth seeks a dynamic and experienced individual to work as the Director of Labor Relations. The Director of Labor Relations works under the general direction of the Associate Vice Chancellor of Human Resources is responsible for managing the labor/employee relations activities for the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth classified and professional staff.   The Director of Labor Relations will be integrally involved in grievances, arbitrations and collective bargaining on behalf of the Administration.  As such, the incumbent is a confidential employee as defined in M.G. L. Chapter 150E, Section 1. The Director of Labor Relations is required to maintain exceptionally high degrees of confidentiality, discretion and customer service in all matters related to this position.
