Post-doctoral Fellow, Business Administration
Post-doctoral fellow, Business Administration - Muhlenberg College invites applications for a one-year contract appointment for a post-doctoral fellow in the field of business administration, to begin August 2017. A Ph.D. in business, management, management science, marketing, or a related field is required. A highly-selective liberal arts college, Muhlenberg has developed a thriving business major within a department that also offers majors in accounting, economics and finance.
The successful candidate will employ innovative pedagogical and assessment techniques to deliver business administration education within the spirit of inquiry that distinguishes the liberal arts. Muhlenberg’s standard teaching load for full-time faculty is 3 courses per semester; the teaching load for this position would be 3 courses per year. For this position, the candidate will teach courses in the area of management. Examples of courses currently offered in this area include: Sustainability in Business, Business and Society, Management, Leadership, and Small Business Management. Other management courses not currently offered but of interest to our students also are possible. All courses integrate technology and further develop student written and oral expression.
