We seek an enthusiastic tenure-track economics instructor who will have the primary role as lead faculty for both macroeconomics and microeconomics courses. This position begins in August 2017 with instruction primarily at Jackson College’s Central Campus, 2111 Emmons Road, Jackson, Michigan. Assignments at other Jackson College locations, including prison facilities as well as online and hybrid courses may also be assigned to complete the fulltime schedule. The applicant’s knowledge of current research and practices in education should be apparent in innovative and successful teaching strategies. The applicant’s skillful approach to teaching and leading students must include a desire to engage both the campus and the surrounding community.

A minimum of a Master’s Degree in Economics is required. Teaching load may be assigned across three semesters, including possible summer assignments.
