Job Summary:
Independently administers the clinical trials administrative, financial, regulatory and contracting functions of the Renal Division's transplant clinical trials program. Responsible for transitioning (and maintaining) the unit's clinical trials to ONCORE or other appropriate clinical trial management software. This position will manage the fiscal and contracting responsibilities of clinical trials, including but not limited to: developing and negotiating budgets, routing contracts in infoed, invoicing and fiscal management of the projects. Responsible for all regulatory document preparation, revisions, updating, and study file management and will prepare and submit all IRB Submission (WIRB and COMIRB).

Salary and Benefits:
The hiring salary for this position is $$48,675 to $64,900 and is commensurate with skills and experience.
This position is not eligible for overtime compensation.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
    A bachelor's degree in public health, public administration, social/behavioral sciences, physical sciences, nursing, healthcare, finance, accounting, business administration, business, or a directly related field from an accredited institution 2 years of professional level experience in research administration.

Substitution: A combination of education and related technical/paraprofessional experience may be substituted for the bachelor's degree on a year for year basis.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience administering clinical trials
  • Experience writing and submitting IRB protocols
  • Experience with grant or contract budgeting and accounting in a University or similar system
  • Experience with Cognos or similar financial reporting
  • Experience working within the University of Colorado system
