Assistant Professor

The Department of Ob-Gyn Division of Advanced Reproductive Medicine has an opening for a full-time position at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor.

Medical Practice Director and IVF Director for Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. The duties of this individual will include providing and overseeing clinical care to patients seen both at the Stapleton Patient office in Denver as well as in our satellite office in Colorado Springs. Night and weekend call will be expected. Supervisory responsibility will include IVF clinical and administrative oversight as well as oversight in regulatory compliance with FDA, CLIA and other certifying agencies. This position will be working under and collaboratively with the Department Chair and REI Division Chief.

Other duties will include teaching in both a didactic and a clinical setting. We have a fully accredited REI fellowship with three fellows enrolled in this program. Participation in and contribution to research activities in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology are expected.

Opportunity to expand and grow a Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility practice with academic appointment at the University of Colorado. This position envisions a self-motivated and progressive physician. Part of a multidisciplinary effort including full service reproductive endocrinology, infertility, third-party reproduction and oncofertility programs, seeking an individual who will grow our areas of expertise in surgery and assisted reproduction.

We have four board-certified REI faculty members who provide backup and logistic support for this position. Duties includes providing and overseeing clinical care to patients both at the Stapleton Patient office in Denver and our satellite office in Colorado Springs. Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: Responsibilities include the organization and growth of a clinically oriented academic practice in reproductive endocrinology and infertility with emphasis on state of the art care and full range of ART services. Required credentials include:

  • The individual must be board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility.
  • Candidates must have or be eligible for licensure by the State of Colorado and must obtain privileges at University of Colorado Hospital (UCH) and other hospitals as the practice needs require.
