The Division of Infectious Diseases at the University of Colorado School of Medicine is recruiting outstanding infectious disease scientists. We seek MD, PhD, or MD-PhD scientists with ability to build and/or maintain an internationally recognized, extramurally funded laboratory-based research program. There are strongly competitive start-up packages. The division is interested in emerging/re-emerging viruses and other pathogens. Researchers investigating infectious diseases of global health importance are invited to apply, as are investigators who strongly diversify/complement us in HIV research. Valued: scientific accomplishment and drive backed by primary research publications, collaborative and interpersonal skills, peer-reviewed funding consistent with seniority.
