The school is seeking applicants with training and experience in the area of Ambulatory Care for a full-time, 12-month, non-tenure clinical teaching track faculty position at the level of Senior Clinical Instructor or Assistant Professor (rank depending on training and experience).

These faculty members will practice as a member of the multidisciplinary teams in the primary care clinics of Salud Family Health Services, located in the Fort Collins area of Colorado. The primary care clinics of Salud are all Federally Qualified Health Clinics (FQHCs). Successful candidates will be expected to participate in implementation of innovative ambulatory care practices in clinics which serve as model sites for pharmacy student and resident training. Clinical responsibilities of this position include the provision of direct patient care in collaboration with a multidisciplinary health care team, development of Collaborative Drug Therapy Management (CDTM) protocols, participation in Patient Centered Medical Home activities, and tracking of metrics that demonstrate the impact of ambulatory care clinical pharmacy services. The successful candidates will have opportunities to educate Doctor of Pharmacy students and to participate in collaborative scholarly work related to clinical activities.

Applicants must have a PharmD degree, advanced training through a PGY2 residency in ambulatory care or similar experience, and eligible for licensure in Colorado. Applicants should either be board certified in ambulatory care or clinical pharmacy or successfully complete board certification within one year of hire. Preferred qualifications include previous clinical experience in an FQHC and board certification in Ambulatory Care (BCACP) and Spanish language skills. Faculty rank and salary will be dependent upon qualifications and experience.
