Associate Professor / Full Professor
The Department of Environmental and Occupational Health in the Colorado School of Public Health (CoSPH) invites applications for 2 tenure-track position at the Associate or Full Professor level. We seek candidates with expertise in one or more areas of environmental or occupational health and related disciplines.
We particularly encourage applicants with interests that address cross-disciplinary research in Climate and Health, Built Environment, Preparedness and Resilience, or Total Worker Health, but all areas of occupational or environmental health will be considered if a strong research and teaching mission is articulated. These positions require a vigorous program of independent research along with teaching at the graduate level.
Our Department's goal is to both diversify and expand our multi-disciplinary faculty and our ability to conduct cutting-edge research in environmental and occupational health. The department has several research and education initiatives in the areas of Total Worker Health, Impacts of Oil and Gas Development on Human Health, Built Environment, Occupational Health and Safety as well as and a NIOSH funded Education and Research Center.
The CSPH was formed collaboratively by the University of Colorado Denver, Colorado State University and the University of Northern Colorado. The CSPH serves the Rocky Mountain Region by providing training, innovative research and community service. Faculty will report to John L. Adgate, PhD, MSPH, Chair of the Department of Environmental and Occupational Health.
None at time of hire; may supervise student workers, postdoctoral fellows and/or junior faculty as career develops.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Research experience in environmental or occupational health and related disciplines.

Appointment at the Associate or Full Professors level requires:
- A PhD, ScD, DrPH, MD, or DO with additional research training in public health or related disciplines.
- An established independent research program
- Candidates with a record of accomplishment mentoring students from all backgrounds preferred.
