The Business School at the University of Colorado Denver (UCD) is seeking a pool of Lecturers in Information Systems from which future appointments to temporary, non-tenure-track positions will be made. Appointments will be part-time (less than 50% FTE) and will be made semester-by-semester. This temporary Lecturer pool is anticipated to remain continuously active through March, 2017, at which point all applications will be cleared from the pool. Applicants will be welcome to apply to future pools after that date.
Lecturers selected from this pool will teach classes in the Business School at the University of Colorado Denver. Classes taught will generally be limited to three credit hours. These may include lectures in class or possibly, online. Compensation will range from $4,650 to $5,070 depending upon course level.

Education and Experience Requirements:
Applicants must hold a master's or higher degree in Information Systems or closely related field.
Prior experience teaching information system courses and recent relevant professional experience is preferred. A Masters specifically in Information Systems is also preferred.
Prior teaching experience in one or more of the following areas of Object-Oriented Analysis and Design, Data Communications and Networking, Data Base Management Systems, programming languages for web application development such as Objective C, JAVA Script, JAVA, HTML5, Ruby on Rails, PHP, or project management at graduate and undergraduate levels highly preferred.
