The Leeds School of Business at the University of Colorado-Boulder anticipates hiring a research associate in the interdisciplinary Center for Research on Consumer Financial Decision Making. Basic research in judgment and decision-making, psychology, consumer research and behavioral economics can inform our understanding of financial decisions. The center, housed at the Leeds School of Business and directed by John Lynch, is the world's leading center dedicated to research on consumer financial decision-making. The postdoc is intended to help a recent PhD in an allied field such as psychology, cognitive science, or economics transition to an academic career in a business school. We will also consider business PhDs with strong training in areas relevant to research in the center. Previous post docs in the center have gone on to tenure-track positions at leading marketing departments. Faculty studying decision making in the Leeds School include John Lynch, Phil Fernbach, Nick Reinholtz, Pete McGraw, Lawrence Williams, Meg Campbell and Donnie Lichtenstein. If desired, the position can include a mentored teaching experience.
