Transplant Infectious Diseases Physician/Faculty
Transplant Infectious Diseases (TID) Faculty Position(academic rank determined upon offer), Division of Infectious Diseases, University of Colorado Denver School of Medicine (Anschutz Medical Campus), Aurora, CO Job Duties: TID patient care, teaching and research in academic setting. Inpatient and outpatient care of solid organ and bone marrow transplantation patients. Some additional general infectious disease clinical activities. Development of a funded research program in TID is strongly encouraged. All academic ranks considered. Optional: HIV primary care. Attractions include large and expanding transplantation services, strongly collaborative transplant program, the new Anschutz Medical Campus with state-of-the-art clinical and research facilities, and the exceptional quality of life and low cost of living offered by Denver and the Rocky Mountains.
Minimum qualifications - MD degree, successful completion of ACGME-accredited infectious diseases fellowship, with either an additional TID fellowship year or demonstrably significant TID experience during ID fellowship. American Board of Internal Medicine certified in infectious diseases.
Desired qualifications - Experience in basic, translational or clinical research.
