A postdoctoral position is immediately available for a highly motivated individual with a strong interest in Electromagnetics and Microwaves in the laboratory of Prof. Dejan Filipovic at the Department of Electrical, Computer, and Energy Engineering, University of Colorado at Boulder (http://ecee.colorado.edu/~dejan/). The projects include the high-power ultra-wideband antennas and arrays, wideband microwave and millimeter-wave passive components, devices, and subsystems including analog beamforming networks, millimeter wave direction finding, wideband antennas, and electrically small antennas. A candidate with interest and background in one or more of the above listed areas is desired. The laboratory is equipped with the state-of-art antenna measurement equipment and several full-wave software tools. The initial appointment for this position is for 6 months, and may be extended dependent on the candidate's performance and availability of funding.
The position requires a Ph.D. in electrical engineering or physics, with a strong background in applied and theoretical electromagnetics. US citizenship or permanent residence is desired, but not required.
