Sr Research Associate
OPEN SEARCH for Director of Chemistry NMR Facility.
Duties for the position:
- NMR instrument and facility maintenance
- Training of NMR users
- Research collaborations with faculty/researchers including preparation of manuscripts
- Recording usage and billing
- Participation in proposal writing
- Ph.D. in Chemistry or related field (e.g. Physics, Biochemistry, Biology, etc.)
- 2 or more years of relevant experience beyond terminal degree, including:
Experience with solid-state and multinuclear NMR, and with modern pulse sequences.
Demonstrated ability to perform routine maintenance and repairs on NMR instruments.
