Associate Professor of Nuclear Medicine
The Department of Radiology at the University of Colorado School of Medicine has an opening for a full-time faculty member in the Nuclear Medicine Division, at the rank of Associate or Full-Professor. This person will also serve as the Section Chief of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging. These faculty members include physicians, educators and scientists at University of Colorado Health, Children's Hospital Colorado, Denver Health, National Jewish Health, and the Denver Veterans Affairs Medical Center. The school is located on the Anschutz Medical Campus, one of four campuses in the University of Colorado system.
The successful recruit will be required to participate in all aspects of our clinical practice as well as our other primary missions of education, research, and service. Qualified candidates will be board certified in Nuclear Medicine or board certified in Radiology with additional board certification in Nuclear Medicine or CAQ in Nuclear Radiology. They should also have a proven record of excellence in clinical care, teaching effectiveness, and academic accomplishments, which have advanced the field of nuclear medicine and molecular imaging.
Medical Degree or equivalent, eligible for Colorado Medical License, ABNM Certification or ABR Certification with fellowship training in nuclear medicine.
Leadership experience and excellence in the practice of Nuclear Medicine.
Proven achievement in clinical and/or translational research.
