Unit Job Summary: Research Professional/CDRLabs Outreach Manager: Support a talented behavioral scientist in generating significant research contributions to relevant disciplines (e.g., psychology, economics). The primary duty will be to conduct this research both independently and in collaboration with CDR faculty, with particular encouragement to advance high-quality, cutting-edge field research. Accordingly, utilize an outstanding capacity to generate original research questions and implement of studies to investigate those questions in both the laboratory and the field. Specific duties will include participating in study design, data acquisition and analysis, manuscript development, and presentation/publication of results. Manage outreach activities for CDRLabs, including oversight of participant recruiting, study solicitation, and communication with organization partners. This position is anticipated to last two years.

Unit Education: Ph.D. (earned or expected by the end of 2017) in psychology, economics, or other behavioral science discipline required.

Unit Experience: Experience in conducting field, computer, web-based, and interpersonal interaction-based experiments preferred.

Unit Job Function Competencies: Ability to interact with faculty, students, and staff successfully required. Good organizational skills and attention to detail required. Familiarity with methods of experimentation preferred. A curriculum vita/resume, two letters of recommendation attached as document type "other," and a cover letter describing research interests, and detailing thoughts regarding the potential contribution of this position to the progress of candidate's disciplinary training and academic career. Selection will be based largely on the applicant's ability to work collaboratively on research with one or more of the Center for Decision Research faculty members. Thus, the candidate should indicate one or two faculty members with whom they would be most interested in collaborating.
