Assistant Director of Admissions Systems
Wells College seeks a process oriented, data driven professional for the position of Assistant Director of Admissions Systems. Under the guidance of the Vice President for Enrollment Services, the position is responsible for systems, operations and data management for the Admissions Office. The Assistant Director will assist in the design, implementation, and management of an undergraduate admissions CRM and will provide expertise and support while maintaining and enhancing processes within ancillary systems, in-house technology and the student information system (Jenzabar). The Assistant Director will also oversee data management processes and reports, creating and managing data integrity and standard operating procedures. In addition to technology and operations, the position will also help manage a small first-year student recruitment territory and applicant pool. A minimum of two years of experience in admissions operations and/or recruitment; Strong proficiency with admissions / enrollment technology in higher education environment, preferably experience with managing an admissions CRM; Experience with project collaboration and teamwork; Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to end users and other campus stakeholders; Excellent communication and organizational skills; Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving ability; Capable of working independently in a fast paced environment. Bachelor’s degree required (from a private, liberal arts college preferred). Master’s degree preferred.
