Now fully coed, Chatham University in Pittsburgh, PA, has over 2,200 undergraduate and graduate students in the School of Health Sciences, the Falk School of Sustainability and Environment, and the School of Arts, Science and Business. Chatham University invites applications for a full-time, 12-month renewable term faculty position.  Opportunities exist to teach courses in both our entry level MOT program and online post professional OTD program.  We are seeking candidates with teaching experience, preferably in mental health and occupation based practice, to join our group of faculty leaders committed to academic excellence and innovative practice.  We provide a collaborative, collegial environment in which to further the program’s excellent reputation for entry-level and post professional education.


The position is based within the School of Health Sciences – which includes undergraduate degrees in Exercise Science, Integrated Health Studies and Nursing and graduate degrees in Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Physician Assistant Studies and Counseling Psychology.  The successful candidate will hold an earned doctorate, a minimum of five years of clinical experience, evidence of engagement in scholarly work, and eligibility for occupational therapy licensure in Pennsylvania.  Responsibilities of the position include teaching, student advisement, scholarship, and service to the university and community.
