Opportunity: Kent State University seeks a Director of Athletics Marketing Strategy to lead, coordinate and execute the planning and development of comprehensive marketing and communications initiatives that support the strategic plans for Intercollegiate Athletics at Kent State University. Responsibilities of this position include promoting athletics to gain national exposure, optimizing the game day experience, increasing community/student engagement, and increasing attendance to events. This position reports to the Associate Vice President of University Communications and Marketing, coordinating closely with the Deputy Athletics Director.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a related field of study (i.e., marketing, communications). Six years of marketing and communications experience with a minimum of three years in a sports setting

Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree; knowledge of NCAA and Mid-American Conference rules and regulations; experience working in a decentralized organization.
