TITLE OF POSITION/RANK: Instructor of Business Administration (Tenure-Track)
RESPONSIBILITIES: Westchester Community College's Business Department seeks applications for a full-time, tenure-track instructor with expertise in the major functional areas of business, including Business Administration, Business Management & Leadership, Marketing, Global Business, Entrepreneurship and New Business Creation, and Human Resource Management. The position requires teaching 15 contact hours plus a minimum of five office hours per week. In addition, the instructor is responsible for updating and developing courses, curricula, and assessment methods; providing academic and career advisement to students. The instructor is expected to participate in department, school and college-wide committees, initiatives and events as well as professional development activities, and to keep abreast of trends in Business on all levels.
QUALIFICATIONS: MBA or related master’s degree and a minimum of one (1) year of college teaching experience in the area of Business Administration required. Three (3) years related work experience is strongly desired. Evidence of at least three (3) years of college level teaching experience in Business Administration also strongly desired.
POSITION EFFECTIVE: Fall 2017
SALARY & BENEFITS: The starting salary is $57,415 plus excellent benefits.
