The Facilities Department at the University of North Texas is seeking to hire a Contract Administrator I-Construction Contract Admin to join our team. Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to: * Perform professional administrative work with UNT facilities for design and construction contracts. * Job duties include drafting, reviewing, editing, approving, and processing contracts and agreements; reviewing contracts for compliance with sponsor guidelines, University policy, and federal/state regulations; preparing and processing formal bids, briefing statements, general construction agreements and other forms of documents; providing sponsored project contract administration guidance to facilities staff; serving as a liaison to external agencies regarding contracts and agreement execution; and conducting training on contract administration and compliance. * Duties are standardized. Resolves routine questions where problems have occurred before and their solutions generally are familiar. Refers more complex issues to higher levels. * This position will also be responsible for tracking their workflow and providing tracking updates to Facilities leadership regarding the status of all open work items. * This position will be responsible for tracking contractor bonding/insurance documentation and payments including drafting and appropriately distributing the proper document(s) to the vendor to receive the payment/performance bond. The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor's Degree in related field and two years of professional related experience; or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
