The Professional Leadership Program (PLP), in the College of Business at the University of North Texas is seeking to hire an Administrative Coordinator II to join our team. Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:* Responsible for managing the administrative operations of PLP.* Serves as the primary contact for PLP to include recommending and implementing policies and procedures. * Responsible for oversight of budget (including reporting and forecasting), purchasing, travel, human resources, and property control functions. * Analyzes and makes recommendations on office operation needs to include equipment, workflow, staffing, and materials. * Direct support for an administrator to include correspondence, data compilation, preparation of reports, calendar maintenance, and related responsibilities. * Helps coordinate and plan various events on and off campus.* Duties and tasks are frequently non-routine, adapting to a changing environment will be key to the success of this position. * Resolves most questions, including some where only limited standardization exists. * May function as a first-line supervisor over student workers and student leaders. * Oversees the day-to-day operations of a group of employees. The successful candidate will possess an Associate's Degree and four years of office administration or business management experience; or any equivalent combination of experience, education, and training.
