University of North Texas - Administrative Specialist IV
The Dining Services Department at the University of North Texas is seeking to hire an Administrative Specialist IV to join our team. Responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to: * Administering and managing the meal plans. * Communicate meal plan information to executive team. * Facilitate conferences and other events related to meal plan management and improve/support operations processes. * Responsible for Credit Card Re-allocations, IDO's and IDT's for the Office and Dining Halls. * This position also manages Purchase Orders and Quick Voucher Payments for Dining Locations. * The Admin Spec IV will support the operation of the Dining Admin Office under the supervision of the Department Coordinator. * Must be able to observe all Dining Services policies and procedures and training of new hired employees and student workers. The successful candidate will possess a High School diploma or GED equivalent and four years of progressively responsible office administration experience. Substitution of education for experience allowed. The following knowledge, skills, and abilities are required:* Intermediate MS Office skills* Ability to work under pressure, to adjust to constant changes, to handle multiple tasks, and to coordinate the work of others* Ability to keep complex records, to assemble and organize data of complex nature, and to prepare and submit reports in acceptable formats* Ability to conceptualize, plan and organize multiple assignments effectively* Ability to work on tasks utilizing judgment, tact, and resourcefulness* Knowledge of basic accounting/budgeting procedures* Skill in developing and maintaining good working relationships.* Knowledge of supervisory practices and principles.* Knowledge of policies, practices, procedures and terminology of assigned function.
