The University Union at the University of North Texas is seeking to hire a Media Technical Specialist I to join our team. The Media Technical Specialist is responsible for the coordination of all multimedia systems and their applications; the coordination of sound system delivery as requested; the coordination of event video delivery as requested; and the supervision of technical and sound engineer staff consisting of part-time student employees. Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to: * Technical set-ups are coordinated as specified in a timely and efficient manner. * Conduct on-site evaluations before event date. * Assist maintenance personnel in trouble shooting as requested. * Supervise staff of part-time student employees.* Maintain a working inventory of all technical equipment.* Provide ongoing preventative maintenance. * Setup of audio and stage lighting equipment in a timely manner. * Attend pre-event meetings and client consultations as requested. * Setup of live video equipment in a timely manner.* Supplemental video production as needed.
