RESEARCH PROFESSIONAL II
Job Summary This position is focused on advanced technical field, laboratory, and data management assistance in agronomic research. The purpose of this position is to provide operations assistance with studies mainly in physiological responses of peanut plants. Duties include data collection, organization, and input, sample collection and processing, as well as responsibilities for coordinating daily field activities, such as planting, spraying, cultivating, irrigating, digging, harvesting, and keeping crop management records of row crop experiments, mainly peanut crop. Additionally, the successful candidate will provide assistance to undergraduate and graduate students when needed. Minimum Qualifications Master's degree and no experience or equivalent combination of Bachelor's degree plus experience and skills required. Area-specific certification and/or training may be required and other training will be provided as appropriate.
