The George Washington University Medical Faculty Associates
The George Washington University Medical Faculty Associates, an independent non-profit academic clinical practice group affiliated with The George Washington University, is seeking a full-time academic Infectious Disease physician for its Division of Infectious Diseases in the Department of Medicine. This non-tenure track appointment will be made at a rank (Instructor/Assistant/Associate/Full Professor) commensurate with experience.
Position Description: Responsibilities include leading an antibiotic stewardship program and providing support for hospital epidemiology. Additional responsibilities include attending on the inpatient Infectious Disease consult service, providing care for outpatients with infectious disease problems, teaching Fellows, Residents and Medical Students, and developing an active research program in Infectious Disease.
Basic Qualifications: Applicants must be Board certified/eligible in Infectious Disease Medicine, and be licensed in the District of Columbia at the time of appointment.
