The University of Virginia Women Gender & Sexuality Program (a unit in the College of Arts & Sciences) seeks applications to fill one or more non-tenure track Instructional positions during the 2016-2017 academic year (and possibly in succeeding years), to teach one or two courses during the spring and/or fall semesters. These are face-to-face teaching assignments, and require physical presence of the instructor in Charlottesville, VA. Any subject areas within women, gender, and sexuality are possible, but ability to teach feminist theory, queer theory, health- and/or technology-related topics is desirable. Global and/or transnational perspectives are desirable. Compensation will take the form of wages. A terminal degree is desirable but not required. Candidates must have a strong commitment to teaching. Applications will be accepted immediately, and will be considered until the position is filled.
