Rose‐Hulman is seeking a Senior Director for Institutional Research, Planning, and Assessment (IRPA) who has the vision and ability to work closely with the Academic Affairs leadership team to position Rose-Hulman to expand its reach and brand, pioneering the future of engineering education nationally and internationally. The Office of Institutional Research, Planning, and Assessment works with the Rose-Hulman community in such diverse areas as institutional management, operations, planning, policy-formation, decision-making, educational research, program assessment, and evaluation. The IRPA Office and its staff have received national recognition for a variety of activities. 

One of the major responsibilities of the Senior Director of Institutional Research, Planning, and Assessment will be to assist in implementing and evaluating the Academic Master Plan (AMP). IRPA’s Senior Director and staff will play a major role in identifying AMP annual goals and appropriate metrics, developing an assessment strategy to provide timely, accurate data, and communicating in such a way to instill confidence in a transparent and inclusive decision-making process.
