The Music Department at Dordt College is currently seeking a faculty member to serve as Director of Choral Activities and supervise student teachers in choral music, teach choral music education, with other possible teaching opportunities in church music, music fundamentals, music literature, and applied lessons, beginning August 2017. Interested candidates should exhibit a deep commitment to, and ability to teach from, the perspective of the Reformed Christian faith. This position will also include taking the lead in student recruitment and participating in department matters, including curriculum review and development, student advising, administrative duties, program assessment, and committee assignments. An earned doctoral degree (D.M.A. or Ph.D.) is preferred. A master’s degree is required.
