RESEARCH TECHNICIAN III
Job Summary Maintain cultured cells and parasites. Perform in vitro and in vivo tests for effectiveness of anti-parasite drugs. Assist in the development of new drug screening assays. Immunological assays (Luminex, Flow Cytometry). Perform and design research experiments and protocols. Successful candidate will be able to prioritize work duties and manage details of experiment execution. Monitoring parasite infection and immune responses in mice. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree and no experience or equivalent combination required. Area-specific certification may be required and training will be provided as appropriate (i.e. UGA HazMat training).
