Position Information: Under supervision, the Fleet Analyst promotes customer-oriented services, responds to customer and vendor inquiries related to rentals, vehicle maintenance, billing, services, incidents or concerns in a timely manner, and follows up to ensure satisfactory resolution. Oversees billing for Fleet Services; vehicle long/short term rentals, insurance costs, fuel charges, vehicle repairs and maintenance, and other applicable services. Collaborates with several campus departments on vehicle accident/incident reports and driver safety programs to ensure compliance with applicable campus and UC policies, and governmental regulations. Performs audits and reconciliation of various Fleet Services systems to ensure accuracy and compliance; makes adjustments or corrections as necessary. Provides other operational and administrative support to Fleet Services as needed.

Skill and ability to provide and model exceptional customer service standards. Ability to monitor departmental performance standards, service guarantees, and service initiatives to ensure customer satisfaction.
Ability to create and maintain various manual and electronic records, logs, filing and record-keeping systems; ensuring accuracy at all times.
Ability to reconcile receipts, conduct audits, track inventory, order materials and issue billing or reimbursements.
Ability to safely operate vehicles, including vans, sedans, SUVs, compact cars, light trucks, electric carts, and other campus vehicles.
Preferred Qualifications: Working knowledge of practices and procedures of safety and emergency preparedness.
Working knowledge of practices and procedures relating to facility maintenance.
Working knowledge and/or experience with Phoenix or Voyager fueling systems.
Knowledge of the changing regulations and legislation of the following organizations: Department of Transportation (DOT), Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV), Department of Labor (DOL), California Vehicle Code (CVC), Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA), National Highway Transportation Safety Administration (NHTSA), and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).
Knowledge of UC/UCR system-wide and Fleet Services policies and procedures.
Knowledge of basic accounting methods and principles.
