Database Services Specialist
Applications are being accepted for a full-time database services specialist. This position will provide daily support and integrations for core college administrative systems and applications, including analyzing and troubleshooting issues, assisting with maintenance and upgrades; creating and maintaining documentation; producing reports using MS Access, MS Reporting Services, and other reporting tools; creating standalone databases to meet end user needs; creating and maintaining users, groups, and permissions; creating and monitoring database automated processes, backups, and performance; working with network team to assure proper database performance and the web services team to assure proper functionality of web-based interfaces; and perform 24/7 on-call functions on a rotating basis. This position reports directly to the Director of Information technology and interacts daily with faculty, staff, and students.

Associates degree in an appropriate computer-related field, or equivalent technical certifications and experience required. Knowledge of SQL scripting and management, and solid understanding of Ellucian PowerCampus, MS Dynamics GP, College Board PowerFaids, and MS Reporting Services preferred. One or more more years related technical experience preferred.
