The Melanie R. Rutkowski laboratory in the Department of Microbiology, Immunology, and Cancer Biology seeks a Research Associate to study B cell responses in ovarian and breast cancer. The successful candidate must have received a PhD within the last 3 years or before the start date in an immunology or cancer-related field. The candidate must have first author publications and demonstrated experience studying adaptive immune responses during pathogenic conditions. Candidates must have experience working with human specimens and performing cancer studies using mouse models. We are specifically interested in candidates with experience studying B cell signaling in response to TLR stimulation and/or cancer progression and obesity. Experience using vaccines as a strategy to treat cancer is preferred, although not required.
