The Curry College School of Nursing is seeking to hire a full-time faculty member to begin fall 2017. Qualified candidates will have prior teaching experience and mental health clinical expertise.
The Curry College Division of Nursing offers several programs: Traditional BS in Nursing; Accelerated Second-Degree BS in Nursing (ACCEL); RN to BS completion; and RN to MSN with two tracks: education and leadership. All nursing programs are accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE). The curriculums are based on Quality and Safety Education in Nursing (QSEN) and Nurse of the Future (NOF) concepts and competencies.
Responsibilities: The scope of responsibilities includes teaching, advising, scholarship, and service at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Applicants should be prepared to teach day and evening courses across all programs at our Milton and Plymouth campuses.
Curry College is seeking qualified candidates who have an earned doctorate in nursing or substantial progress towards the terminal degree, a minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in mental health nursing, teaching experience at the undergraduate and/or graduate level, and an unrestricted Massachusetts RN license or eligibility for Massachusetts RN licensure. Employment in this position is contingent upon successful completion of all background, educational and licensure checks.
At the College’s discretion, the education and experience prerequisites may be excepted where the candidate can demonstrate, to the satisfaction of the College, an equivalent combination of education and experience specifically preparing the candidate for success in the position.
