Position Description: Full-time, tenure track position
Responsibilities: This is a nine-month, tenure-track position. The candidate accepted for this position will be expected to teach 9-12 hours per semester at the undergraduate and graduate level in accounting (may include both on-campus and online courses) and participate in departmental and university activities. The primary teaching areas are managerial accounting, ethics, and auditing.
Qualifications: Prefer a Ph.D. in accounting from an AACSB accredited school or individuals at ABD status who are within one year of completing their degree. Preference will also be given to applicants with teaching experience related to U.S. GAAP. The successful candidate must be a U.S. citizen or eligible for employment in the U.S. Salary and academic rank will be commensurate with qualifications.

About the Department:
The Department of Economics, Finance, and Accounting is one of four departments in the College of Business and Entrepreneurship at FHSU and offers outstanding undergraduate and graduate instruction in the accounting, economics, and finance disciplines. Currently, the degree and majors offered by the department are a B.B.A. in Accounting; a B.B.A. in Accounting with a concentration in public accounting, a B.B.A. in Finance, a B.B.A. in Finance with concentrations in banking, economics, and financial planning; and a B.B.A. in International Business and Economics. Minor programs in accounting, economics, finance, and international business and economics and certificate programs in accounting, economics, finance, and insurance are also offered. Description: The college consists of four large and growing departments: Applied Business Studies; Economics, Finance, and Accounting; Informatics; and Management and consists of more than 50 full-time faculty supported by key staff.
