The Department of Public Health Sciences at the University of Virginia seeks applicants for a post-doctoral Research Associate for the Cancer Disparities Training Program. A particular emphasis of the position is research on cancer care in the Medicaid population. The position is available August 1, 2016, and the usual NIH postdoctoral pay scales apply.
The Department of Public Health Sciences provides comprehensive and multi-disciplinary research, scientific and analytical services, and education to the University of Virginia and the UVA Health System through its Divisions of Biomedical Informatics, Patient Outcomes Research, and Translational Research and Applied Statistics and its sections on Biostatistics, Health Policy, Management and Regulation, Comparatives Effectiveness, Quality and Outcomes Research, Data Sciences, and Bioethics.
