Job Summary This position manages and controls accounting, budgeting, auditing, and other financial or related functions to ensure the financial integrity of the Department of Plant Pathology. The incumbent also coordinates and controls personnel and operational matters, supervises the Athens office staff (two Accountants and one Administrative Specialist I), and serves as a liaison to the Tifton and Griffin Plant Pathology office managers. Collaboratively with the College of Agricultural & Environmental Sciences (CAES) Business Office and the CAES Grants Coordinator, the position will support departmental faculty in the development of budgets for grants and contracts. Minimum Qualifications Completion of a Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, or a related discipline with seven years of related experience required; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
