Job Description: The Department of Family Medicine at the Brody School of Medicine, East Carolina University, is committed to the highest standards of teaching and patient care. The Behavioral Medicine section provides fully-integrated behavioral health services for patients who are seen in the ECU Family Medicine Center Clinics. We are seeking a NC - licensed Clinical Psychologist for a full-time faculty position at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor in our Behavioral Medicine section. The ideal candidate should be passionate about education, patient care, and the development of the next generation of Family Medicine physicians. Responsibilities include: Provision of both individual and group therapy services in the Family Medicine Center; individual and co-counseling with physicians; Behavioral Science residency education (to include curriculum development, lectures and precepting); student supervision and research/scholarly activity. The ECU Brody School of Medicine is affiliated with Vidant Medical Center (formerly Pitt County Memorial Hospital). Vidant Medical Center is the flagship hospital for Vidant Health and serves as the teaching hospital for the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University.

Minimum Qualifications: Ph.D. or Psy.D. degree in Psychology, and a current NC license as a Psychologist. Qualifying degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
