Middle Georgia State University (MGA), a Unit of the University System of Georgia, invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Clinical Social Work to begin in Fall 2017. This position involves teaching a 4/4 course load, scholarship, student advisement, and service and will be housed on the Macon campus.

QUALIFICATIONS: The successful candidate for this position must hold a Ph.D. in Social Work (ABD considered as long as degree is conferred by August 2017) and is eligible to become a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the State of Georgia. This position involves teaching upper-level courses in the Public Service-Human Service bachelor program including social context of public service agencies, research methods, conflict resolution and negotiation, and internship in public service.  Teaching responsibilities will include day and/or evening classes, and experience with online and hybrid course delivery will be a plus.

SALARY:  Commensurate with education and experience.
